KCB Bank Uganda Limited (KCB Bank Uganda), is a commercial bank in Uganda. It is licensed by the Bank of Uganda, the central bank and national banking regulator.
The bank focuses on meeting the banking needs of individuals and corporate entities. As of December 2012, KCB Uganda had assets of UGX:335.5 billion ($131 million).
Kenya Commercial Bank (Uganda) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the KCB Group of companies.
In November 2007, the first branch of KCB Uganda opened in Kampala, Uganda's capital city, following licensing by the Bank of Uganda. Since then, the bank has opened fifteen more branches in the country. In May 2012, media reports indicated that KCB Uganda was planning to acquire a licensed financial services institution in Uganda within the next two years.
