Julien Rose Baker (born September 29, 1995) is an American musician and guitarist from Memphis, Tennessee. She is a member of the alternative rock band Forrister. She released a studio album, Sprained Ankle, on 6131 Records in 2015.
Baker was born in Memphis, Tennessee and grew up in Bluff City. She learned to play on her father's guitar. She attends Middle Tennessee State University.
In 2010, Baker cofounded a band called The Star Killers, which renamed itself Forrister in 2015. During her freshman year at MTSU, Baker separated from Forrister and began writing songs on her own. She self-released an EP in the winter of 2014 on Bandcamp which became the studio album Sprained Ankle, in October 2015.
