Jozef Geirnaert

Jozef Lodewijk Geirnaert (1791 in Eeklo – 1859 in Ghent), was a 19th-century painter from Belgium.

According to the RKD he was the pupil of Joseph Paelinck and Willem Jacob Herreyns. He is known for portraits and historical allegories, and became the teacher of Edouard Auguste Wallays and Jacques Louis Godineau.
