Joyce Penelope Jacobsen is Andrews professor of economics at Wesleyan University, Middletown, and the current president of the International Association for Feminist Economics (IAFFE), her tenure is for 2016 to 2017. Jacobsen is also an expert for the Institute for New Economic Thinking.
Jacobsen earned her A.B. from Harvard University in 1982, and her Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1991.
