Jonathan Samuel Hilbert is a former placekicker in the National Football League.

Hilbert was born Jonathan Samuel Hilbert on July 15, 1975 in West Palm Beach, FL, United States. He attended Boonville High School.

Hilbert accepted a scholarship from the University of Louisville and played for the Louisville Cardinals football team.

He originally signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent after the 2000 NFL draft, but was released before training camp.

Hilbert was released by the Buffalo Bills in August 2000.

On March 28, 2001, he was signed as a free agent by the New Orleans Saints. He was released on August 28.

On November 13, 2001, Hilbert was signed by the Dallas Cowboys. He kicked in eight games while replacing an injured Tim Seder (out for the season). He wasn't re-signed at the end of the year.

On March, 14, 2002, he was signed by the Chicago Bears, but was released on August 25, when they decided to keep incumbent kicker Paul Edinger.

On September 19, 2002, the Carolina Panthers signed Hilbert to their practice squad. He was later elevated to the active roster after they lost starting kicker John Kasay due to hernia surgery. After missing two field goals in a game versus the Minnesota Vikings and not kicking well in practice, Hilbert was replaced by kicker Shayne Graham and waived on September 27.
