Jon-Lars is a Swedish farm located in Alfta, in the municipality of Ovanåker and the province of Hälsingland. It is one of seven decorated farms in Hälsingland which have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 2012. At the national level, it has also been classified byggnadsminne since 1994.
Jon-Lars farm has been transmitted in the same family since the 17th century. After a fire in 1851, it is completely rebuilt by Anders and Olof Andersson brothers. The main building, which consists of eighteen rooms and more than fifty windows, was completed in 1857. It was designed to accommodate the families of each of the two brothers and is particularly large in size. Two separate dwellings which have in common a reception room. Renovations and modernizations took place several times in the 20th century, the most recent date from 1979–1980, but left the buildings intact overall · .
Like other decorated farms in Hälsingland, Jon-Lars is built of wood. In addition to the main building, the site also includes a shed, a barn and other utility buildings. Most have red-colored walls. The interior decorations of the main building are presumably the work of the traveling painter Dalmatian Svärdes Hans Ersson.
