Johnoy Danao is a critically acclaimed Filipino independent musician, composer, and singer-songwriter. He is best known as a live acoustic performer, but his two albums, "Dapithapon", and "Samo't Sari", have also garnered significant album sales and radio airplay. Among his best known artistic collaborations are with director Jerrold Tarog for the soundtrack of the 2010 film Senior Year, a series of gigs with guitarist Kakoy Legaspi in 2007, and a yearlong concert series with fellow performers Ebe Dancel and Bullet Dumas, which culminated in a major concert performance at the Music Museum in San Juan in February 2016.
