John Rutland

John Rutland (31 August 1916 - 1 June 2013) was a British character actor. He worked in theatre, film and on television.

In about 1950 he was a member of the cast of the Sheffield Repertory Theatre. He appeared in Calculated Risk (1963) as Kip and had a bit part as a porter at Caius in Chariots of Fire (1981).

in the 1970s and 1980s he made several appearances on the Dick Emery Show and The Two Ronnies.
