John Edward Southwell Russell, 27th Lord de Clifford (establishment: 1299) (b. 8 June 1928) is a Peer of England of the Feudal barony of Clifford in Herefordshire, England.
Lord Clifford is the son of Lieutenant Colonel Edward Russell, 26th Baron de Clifford (1907–1982) and Dorothy Evelyn (Meyrick).
Lord Clifford married married Bridget Jennifer Robertson, daughter of Duncan Robertson and Joyce Williams-Wynn, on 27 June 1959. They have no children.
Lord Clifford received his early education at Eton College, Windsor. He was later educated at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester.

As he has no sons, the heir presumptive is the present holder's nephew, Miles Edward Southwell Russell (b. 1966).
