John James Galloway (1819 – 30 June 1883) was a Member of the Queensland Legislative Council.
Galloway served two terms in the Legislative Council - His first term was from 1 May 1860 till 1 May 1865 and 13 November 1869 till 17 April 1872.
He had purchased a considerable amount of urban property including around the area that now bears his name, Galloways Hill.
Galloway returned to England in 1875 and died in Brussels, Belgium in 1883.
