Jin Air's inaugural flight was in July 2008. As of August 2016[update] the airline operates flights to 5 domestic cities and 22 international destinations. It launched its first long haul route, between Incheon and Honolulu, in December 2015. It has operated cargo services since November 2013.
The Chinese character Jin (眞) means "truth". It embodies the will of Jin Air to provide true and sincere service. The Chinese character is used for the actual company name of Jin Air.
JINI PLAY is the inflight entertainment service of Jin Air. A range of entertainment content provided by Jin Air can be accessed by passengers' personal electronic devices. Passengers can also rent equipment to access in-flight entertainment on board.
The JINI Plus seat, only available on Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, has 16 cm (6.2 inches) more leg room than economy seating.
