James Isaac "Jimmy" Neutron is a fictional character who is the protagonist of the Nickelodeon film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius and its spin-off TV series The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. He is a highly-intelligent young prodigy who works on odd inventions and devices, which include (but are not limited to) a robotic dog named Goddard, a shrink-ray, and a roller coaster car converted into a spaceship. Despite this, he is tormented in school by his peers. He is voiced by Debi Derryberry in all his appearances.

Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius is a 2001 animated film that was distributed by Paramount Pictures, and produced by Nickelodeon Movies with O Entertainment and DNA Productions. Directed by John A. Davis, the film centers on the parents of Jimmy's hometown being kidnapped by aliens known as Yokians, causing Jimmy and the rest of the children in town to band together to rescue them. The film received positive reviews. The movie was released on December 21, 2001.

The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius is an American computer animated television series created by John A. Davis. It is the 2002 spin-off to the 2001 film. It originally aired on Nickelodeon for three seasons from July 20, 2002 to November 25, 2006.

Planet Sheen is the second spin-off of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. It centers on Jimmy's friend Sheen Estevez, who has accidentally landed on the planet Zeenu. It originally aired on Nickelodeon, and later remaining episodes on Nicktoons, for one season from October 2, 2010 to February 15, 2013.
