Jessie Rodriguez is an American politician.
Born in El Salvador, Rodriguez moved to the United States in 1984 with her family. Rodriguez graduated from Marquette University in 2002 with a B.A. in Communications and previously worked as an outreach coordinator for Hispanics for School Choice, an education reform advocacy organization. She currently lives in Franklin, Wisconsin with her husband and family.
On November 19, 2013, Rodriguez became the first Hispanic immigrant in Wisconsin history to be elected to the State Legislature and was sworn into the Wisconsin State Assembly on December 4, 2013, as a Republican.
