National Arena League (2018–present)
The Jersey Flight are a proposed professional indoor football team to be based in Trenton, New Jersey, as a member of the National Arena League (NAL) for the 2018 season. They are owned by Jersey Flight Football, Inc., and have announced that the Sun National Bank Center is to be their home arena. The Flight were officially announced to be joining the league at a press conference on March 20, 2017. Jersey Flight Football, Inc., is reported to be the first 100% African-American-owned professional sports franchise in the state of New Jersey.
Trenton was formerly home to the Trenton Steel of the SIFL (2011) and the Trenton Freedom of the PIFL (2014–2015).
