Jeremiah Cuyler

Jeremiah La Touche Cuyler (June 4, 1768 – May 7, 1839) was a United States federal judge.

Born in New York, New York, Cuyler read law in 1789 to enter the bar. He was in private practice in Savannah, Georgia from 1789 to 1821, and he served in the Georgia State Senate from Chatham County.

On June 12, 1821, Cuyler received a recess appointment from President James Monroe to a seat on the United States District Court for the District of Georgia vacated by William Davies. Formally nominated on December 19, 1821, Cuyler was confirmed by the United States Senate on January 10, 1822, and received his commission the same day.

Cuyler served thereafter until his death, in 1839, in Savannah.
