Jefferson Davis Community College is a community college located in Brewton, Alabama. Founded in 1964, the college was named in honor of Jefferson Davis, president of the Confederate States of America.
The college was founded in 1964.
The college has campuses in Brewton and Atmore, Alabama. The Woodfin Patterson Auditorium hosts cultural events. There is also a new One-Stop Student Services Center, a recreational and experiential learning park, and a three- hole practice golf course.
The college is part of the Alabama College System. It has a temporary acting president.
The college is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate degrees.
The college athletics teams are nicknamed the Warhawks.
