Jeffrey Leonard "Jeff" Jarrett (born July 14, 1967) is an American professional wrestler, professional wrestling promoter, and co-founder of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), which he founded along with his father, Jerry, and more recently, Global Force Wrestling (GFW). He is currently signed with Impact Wrestling as the Executive Producer for the promotion. He is also well known from his multiple runs in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) during the 1990s.
A third-generation wrestler, Jarrett has held 77 total championships in various promotions throughout his career. He has held six NWA World Heavyweight Championships, four WCW World Heavyweight Championships, two WWA World Heavyweight Championships (as well as being the final titleholder), three USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championships and a one AAA Mega Championship. His NWA title reigns occurred within TNA, under his co-ownership of the company.
He achieved notable championship success in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), becoming a six-time Intercontinental Champion, and one of four men to hold both the Intercontinental and European Championships simultaneously. He is the only wrestler to be a three-time King of the Mountain match winner in TNA, and also won Mexican promotion Asistencia Asesoría y Administración's (AAA) Rey de Reyes tournament in 2004, making him the only wrestler to win both King of the Mountain and Rey de Reyes. Jarrett has held 14 World Championships and 24 total championships, and was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in 2015.
