Jeff Choate (born June 15, 1970) is an American football coach, currently the head coach of Montana State University.
Choate graduated from St. Maries High School in 1988, and continued playing for Montana Western, where he played linebacker from 1988 until 1991. While pursuing a bachelor's degree in secondary education, he became the Bulldog's linebacker's coach.
On December 4, 2015, Montana State announced Choate as their head football coach beginning in the 2016 season.
Choate and his wife, Janet, have two children; a son, Jory, and a daughter, Jacy.
