Jeddo is a borough in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 98 at the 2010 census.

The Pennsylvania borough was originally known as "Japan-Jeddo" after the Japanese port of Edo, Japan (anglicized to Jeddo, Japan) to which coal was exported by the Hazleton Coal Company, a local coal company. Edo in Japan was later renamed Tokyo in 1868. However although the unofficial name of the borough remained "Japan-Jeddo", the official name of the borough in Pennsylvania had been "Jeddo" since its incorporation by the Court of Quarter Sessions of the Peace of Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, on October 23, 1871. The Pennsylvania borough shortened its unofficial name from "Japan-Jeddo" back to the official name of "Jeddo", after the 1941 surprise attack by Japan on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii which precipitated World War II.
