Jean-Sébastien Dominique Francois Jacques (born October 1971) is the CEO of Rio Tinto Group, having succeeded Sam Walsh in July 2016.

Jacques was born in France in October 1971. He studied engineering at École Centrale Paris.

Jacques joined Rio Tinto in 2011, and became head of copper and coal businesses. Jacques became deputy CEO on 17 March 2016 and CEO on 2 July 2016.

Jacques was previously group strategy director for Tata Steel.

He is married, with children.
