Jean-Michel Labadie (born July 14, 1974) is a French musician best known as the bassist of metal band Gojira and previous bassist of Oihuka.
Labadie was influenced early on by bands such as Metallica, Sepultura and Pantera. As his taste expanded, he became immersed in the nu-metal movement, citing inspiration from Deftones and Korn. He is also influenced by death metal bands Morbid Angel and Cannibal Corpse.
Labadie is known to use a pick to play bass in Gojira. He uses Darkglass electronics when playing live with the band.
