She auditioned in Angeles, Pampanga and finishing Pinoy Idol as a Runner-Up without placing in any bottom groups.

Jayann may ended as a runner up but still, she had some opportunity to showcase her talent. She had a tour in SM Pampanga Amphitheater for a two night - concert. The guests were Rachelle Ann Go and Ronnie Liang. Some Pinoy Idol graduates were included to be her guests and they were Ram Chaves, Kid Camaya, Toffer Rei, Walton Zerrudo and Rye Estrada.

After that concert, she had also a provincial tour that started in January 2009 in Bulacan, Tarlac, Zambales, Bataan and Pangasinan.

Jayann also said that she's working out for her 3rd album. According to her, it has 11 tracks: 7 of it are originals that was composed by her and the other 4 songs are revivals. The title of album and the carrier single are still to be determined.
