Jan Crutchfield (February 26, 1938 in Paducah, Kentucky – November 1, 2012 in Nashville, Tennessee) was an American singer and songwriter. He is best known for writing "Statue of a Fool" which was first recorded in 1969 by Jack Greene. He also wrote "Just Behind the Rainbow", recorded by Brenda Lee in 1964, and co-wrote "Look Down", recorded by Timi Yuro in 1963.
