James Michael Vincent (born 27 September 1989) is an English footballer who plays for Dundee as a midfielder. He has previously played for , Kidderminster Harriers and Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Born in Glossop, Vincent joined aged just eight. In 2005, he joined the 'Centre of Excellence' youth system at Stockport, before making his first-team debut two years later, as a substitute in a 1–0 win over Brentford on the last day of the 2007–08 season.
The 2008–09 season saw Vincent feature more regularly in the team. He scored his first goal for the club on 18 November 2008 in a 5–0 win over Yeovil Town in the FA Cup. He scored his first league goal, on 10 March 2009, in a 2–1 win over Hartlepool United. After the match, manager Jim Gannon said his midfield trio, of which Vincent was one, 'are really just three fantastic players'. Vincent scored his second league goal, on 24 April 2009, in a 4–1 win against Crewe Alexandra.
In May 2011, he was informed that he would not be offered a further contract by Stockport due to the club's financial position.
In June 2011, he joined Conference National outfit Kidderminster Harriers on a one-year contract. He made his debut in the opening game of the season, a 3–2 defeat to Gateshead, He scored his first goal for the club in a 3–1 win over Alfreton Town on 17 September 2011. Vincent then scored twice, in a 5–4 win over Braintree Town in October 2011. On 29 May 2012, he signed a new one-year contract with the club.
