Jambon-beurre

A jambon-beurre (French pronunciation: ​[ʒɑ̃.bɔ̃.bœʁ]; French for "ham-butter") is an extremely popular French ham sandwich made of a baguette sliced open, spread with butter, and filled with slices of ham.

Each day in France, over 2 million jambon-beurre sandwiches are sold, more than any other kind of sandwich, even including fast-food hamburgers.
