Jai Jawan (English: Salute to Soldier) is a 1970 Telugu drama film produced by D. Madhusudhana Rao on Annapurna Pictures banner and directed by D. Yoganand. Starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Krishnam Raju, Bharathi in the lead roles and music composed by Saluri Rajeswara Rao.
Captain Ravindra Nath (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) is a military officer is a son of a freedom fighter Madhava Rao (Gummadi), in the India - China war Ravi is injured badly and saved by a military nurse Susheela (Bharathi). They fell in love with each other, their parents also agreed to their marriage but unfortunately Susheela dies in a car accident before the marriage. Later Ravi went to country tour to recover from the sad incident. Unexpectedly he saw his lover Susheela alive in an unknown place and he gets shocked seeing her. Later he came to know that she is the twin sister of Susheela who is Sujatha (again Bharathi).
