Chiapas Fútbol Club Reserves and Academy is the feeder team of Mexican football club Chiapas. In 2008-09 season the team relegated from Primera División A. It was based in Tapachula, Chiapas but moved to Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas during the 2008–09 season. The team previously known as Potros D.F. before 2003. The team relegated in 2004 to Segunda División de México. In 2005-06 season based in Zamora, Michoacán.

In 2006–07 season, Jaguares de Chiapas affiliate with Petroleros de Salamanca. Then later became the new filial team which played Primera División A (Ascenso MX) and Tapachula disappeared, while the C team played at Tercera División de México. In 2007-08 season, Jaguares de Chiapas bought Pachuca Juniors (one of the C.F. Pachuca's reserve team) who won promotion to Primera División A (and a new Pachuca Juniors formed in Segunda División) but in 2009 they relegated again.

On May 20, 2013 it was announced Chiapas Liga MX team Jaguares de Chiapas was sold and relocated to Querétaro, rebranded Querétaro F.C. (replaced old Queretaro team). On May 28, 2013, it was announced the team San Luis F.C. from San Luis Potosí was relocating to the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez and was renamed Chiapas Fútbol Club, thus bringing back a first division team back to Chiapas.
