Jackie Paisley was a professional female bodybuilder from the Scottsdale, Arizona in the United States.

As a college student who attended both Carnegie Mellon University and Arizona State University on a music scholarship, Jackie was drawn into the world of bodybuilding after she achieved a reputation as one of Arizona's top aerobics instructors. Jackie was famous for her toughness and endurance at the local Tempe Nautilus gym where trainers would put her through workouts and marvel that they could never make her quit. She later attended her first state-wide bodybuilding show in 1982 where she was told by friends, "You could strip down to your underwear right now and get on that stage and you'll beat every girl in the show." Jackie started competing immediately after that, and she didn't stop until she found herself standing next to Corey Everson in 1989, challenging her for the world championship on the Olympia stage. With a tremendous smile, friendly nature and an extraordinary demeanor, Jackie became one of the most popular women in the world-wide fitness and bodybuilding community, traveling and guest posing all over the world.

After winning almost every bodybuilding show she ever entered, Jackie was known for always being extraordinarily lean, beautifully musclebound and in peak condition for every show. Her background in ballet and her dynamic presence on stage propelled her to the elite level of the bodybuilding world for nearly a decade. As a local fitness icon, Jackie was one of the most popular and well liked sports celebrities in the Scottsdale, Arizona fitness scene, having counseled hundreds of fitness enthusiasts and every young physique competitor who ever asked her for help. After receiving her Masters Degree in Nutrition, Jackie spent many years after retirement from competition as a professional nutritionist at the Beauvais Fitness Centers and other various gyms in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Jackie had a son, Neo, who was born in 2005. After the birth of her son, Jackie became a Christian and an avid Bible scholar, attending Scottsdale Bible Church and composing books about health, fitness, medicine and her newfound relationship with God. In 2015, Jackie was working on a book about advanced physiological concepts of the brain tissue that is located in the human stomach when she began to have health problems that gave way to a serious illness in 2016. Unfortunately, on March 17, 2017, Jackie passed away and is survived by her 12 year old son, Neo, her brother Bruce Paisley and his wife Ann. Jackie was, by far, one of the most popular and loved personalities from an entire generation of the Arizona fitness and bodybuilding scene. Few people have had more impact or a greater influence in the area of fitness in Arizona than the beloved Jackie Paisley.
