Jack Perry is the Founder and CEO of Syncbak,Inc., a media technology company, whose products and services power solutions for television broadcasters, including the CBS All Access app, a TV Everywhere solution for FOX networks and live tv for Hulu, fuboTV and others. Syncbak is the first-ever mobile and tablet platform to integrate Nielsen measurement.

Prior to founding Syncbak, Perry was CEO of Decisionmark Corp (1996-2009) where he created Geneva, a subscriber authentication technology used by ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, DirecTV, Echostar and every local television station in the U.S. In 2000, Perry created and launched TitanTV.com, the first-ever web based electronic program guide with built-in DVR capabilities. He created his first software package, RunningCounts, in 1990.

In 2004, along with FCC Chairman Michael Powell, Perry introduced AntennaSelector.com and CheckHD, online tools he created which were designed to help consumers migrate from analog to digital television C-SPAN Consumers and Digital Television. AntennaSelector.com is known today as antennaweb.org.

In 2011, at the CEA CES on the Hill event, Perry introduced the Syncbak OTT platform to assist over-the-air digital broadcasting to move to the Internet C-SPAN The Communicators at CES on the Hill 2011.

In 2016 Perry and his wife Annette founded Perry Development Partners (PDP). PDP is focused on developing properties in the historic uptown district of their hometown Marion, IA.

In early 2017, Perry announced that his company's OTT platform, SimpleSync, powers 2.5 million hours of live local TV programming and covers 90% of U.S. households across 161 markets.

On September 7, 2017, in the wake of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, Perry's op-ed on the importance of local news, In times of strife, local news matters more than ever, was published by Quartz.

Perry was inducted into the Academy of Digital Television Pioneers and was nominated for an Academy Award (for Best Industry Leadership) in 2004. He was elected to the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in 2003 and was named one of Dealerscope's 40 most influential people under 40 in the consumer electronics industry that same year. In 2008, his TitanTV web studio won a Webby Award for Titan Greens, an edgy take on eco-news.
