J.J. Totah

J. J. Totah is an American child actor. He is known for playing Myron Muscovitz in the last season of the Fox television series Glee and Stuart Wooten on the Disney Channel television series Jessie. He is also known for playing Justin in the film Other People which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016.

Totah is from Davis, California. He is primarily of Palestinian and Lebanese Arab descent, with some Italian, Irish, and Italian descent.

His career began in 2012, although in an interview with SweetyHigh, he stated "I was 2 years old when I knew I wanted to do musical theatre."

In 2012 he was cast as the "Lil' Dictator" in the first production for AwesomenessTV, and then by Disney in the recurring role of "Stuart Wooten" on the Disney Channel Original Series Jessie. He became a series regular in the role of "Michael" in the ABC comedy Back in the Game. He has guest starred on numerous televisions shows, including New Girl, 2 Broke Girls, and Liv and Maddie. In 2015, he was cast in 4 episodes of the last season of the Fox musical comedy-drama TV series Glee as "Myron Muskovitz", a singing and dancing infant prodigy "diva".

In 2016, Totah received critical praise for his role as "Justin" in the film Other People, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Variety included him on its list of breakout actors.InStyle Magazine also named him one of its "10 Rising Stars to Watch" and "Most Inspirational Person at the Sundance Film Festival".
