It's a Miserable Life (Beavis and Butt-head)

The following is an episode list for the MTV animated television series Beavis and Butt-Head. The series has its roots in 1992 when Mike Judge created two animated shorts, "Frog Baseball" and "Peace, Love and Understanding", which were aired on Liquid Television.

Both shorts originally aired as part of Liquid Television and did not include music videos.

Beavis and Butt-head play baseball with an unsuspecting frog, leading to the utter demise of the smashed amphibian.

Featured videos: The original Liquid Television airings of "Frog Baseball" do not feature music videos. These were only added when the series moved to MTV.

MTV airings of the episode featured two alternate sets of music videos and edits of the episode.

Set 1

This airing of "Frog Baseball" added a new end title card featuring a still from the episode where Butt-head hits Beavis with a base ball bat. A disclaimer states that no animals were harmed in the making of the episode, except Beavis.

Set 2

This airing was added to the episode "Give Blood / Blood Drive" after Concrete Blonde. It featured a new title card and moved the opening tv watching scene to the end of the episode.

Beavis and Butt-head go to a monster truck rally, and end up buried in feces when a truck crashes through some port-a-potties which were the temple of Sterculius, the Roman God of feces.

The episode marks the first appearance of Mr. Van Driessen.

Mike Judge himself is highly critical of the animation and quality of these episodes, in particular the first two – "Blood Drive"/"Give Blood" and "Door to Door" – which he described as "awful, I don't know why anybody liked it... I was burying my head in the sand."

Beavis and Butt-head donate blood in hopes of raking in the cash, giving a little more than they planned to. The episode is sometimes entitled "Blood Drive".
