Islington Gazette

The Islington Gazette is a weekly paid-for newspaper covering news relating to the borough of Islington in north London, UK. It was established in 1856 and was owned by Independent News & Media until the early 21st century when it was bought by Archant.

On 21 September 2006 the Islington Gazette celebrated its 150th birthday. The Islington Gazette is published weekly on a Thursday, and covers local news in Islington and neighbouring boroughs such as Hackney and Haringey. The newspaper is a weekly paid newspaper which can also be collected for free from participating McDonald's restaurants in Islington.
