Iqram Magdon-Ismail is a Zimbabwe-born entrepreneur who is currently based in New York City. Magdon-Ismail is best known for co-founding the mobile payment service Venmo, along with Andrew Kortina, in 2009. Venmo was acquired for $26.2 million by Braintree in 2012, and is now owned by PayPal. In 2015, Venmo processed payments of $7.5 billion.
