Iowa's 2nd congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Iowa that generally covers most of the southeastern part of the state including Davenport, Iowa City, Muscatine, Clinton, Burlington, and Fort Madison.
The district is currently represented by Democrat Dave Loebsack.
On June 22, 2001, the Iowa Legislature passed a plan to redistrict the state of Iowa. The plan went into effect in 2002 for the 108th U.S. Congress. The prior redistricting plan was effective from 1992-2001.

As of May 2015[update], five former members of the U.S. House of Representatives from Iowa's 2nd congressional district are alive. The most recent representative to die was James E. Bromwell (1961-1965) on September 11, 2009.
