The International School of Moscow (abbreviated ISM) is an international school serving the expatriate community in Moscow (children aged 2 to 18 years – Pre-Nursery to Year 13). The school follows the English National Curriculum with students taking their IGCSE and AS/A Level exams in secondary school.
It was established in April 2007.
The school has two campuses: one in Krylatskoye District, Western Administrative Okrug, Moscow, and one in Rosinka, Krasnogorsky District, Moscow Oblast. Facilities include modern classrooms, science labs, libraries, ICT rooms equipped with the latest technology, sports facilities and a dining hall.
ISM is governed by the British Schools Foundation, a UK non-profit organisation which aims to promote British-style education worldwide. The day-to-day operation is overseen by the headteacher. The school is also an affiliate of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), and licensed by the Russian authorities.
