The International Society of Business Leaders (ISOBL) claims to be an international registry of business professionals, executives, and esteemed alumni from leading universities and institutions spanning the globe; however, has been reported as a scam on a number of occasions
ISOBL was founded in Garden City, New York with the stated mission of empowering members by providing a platform for professional networking opportunities.
Primarily a business networking platform and biographical publication, the network has grown to over 50,000+ members through unsolicited mass e-mail.
ISOBL claims to maintain application criteria and only accepts business professionals with proven track records, however, there is no record of anyone being denied for any reason other than a failure to pay for a subscription. It should be noted that there is a considerable subscription fee of over $1000 and many further 'benefits' are charged for, and there is an alert out on the organization from the Better Business Bureau for using an un-deliverable address.
