"Inspired" is a song recorded by American singer Miley Cyrus for Cyrus' sixth studio album, Younger Now. It was written by Cyrus and Oren Yoel, and produced by Yoel. The song was released as a promotional single on June 9, 2017 for digital download and streaming through RCA Records.
Miley Cyrus said she released the song "in celebration of [Pride Month] and the desperate cry for more love in this world." "Inspired" is the second song released from Cyrus' sixth studio album, Younger Now.
John Norris, writing for Billboard, described the song as "a tender track that doubles down on the sentimentality of "Malibu," and which should erase any doubt that Cyrus has turned a musical page for 2017."
Miley Cyrus performed the song live for the first time on May 26, 2017, on Today. On June 4, 2017, Cyrus sang "Inspired" at the One Love Manchester benefit concert for the victims of the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing. She also performed the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, along with "Malibu".
Although not released as a single, "Inspired" peaked at number twenty-three on the Spanish PROMUSICAE singles chart.
