Much of this equipment was destroyed in the Pukhrayan train derailment.
On 20 November 2016, the train no. 19321 on this route running from Indore to Rajendra Nagar Terminal, Patna derailed in the Pukhrayan train derailment, killing 145 people and injuring more than 150.
