In Consequence is the début studio album by the alternative band Phase. The album was recorded at their home studio in Greece, and produced entirely by the band. It was released on December 21, 2010.

All tracks written by Phase.

The album was released as a digital download on the Winter solstice of 2010, and later on as a limited edition CD mainly for magazines and promoters while on July 2012 the album was uploaded entirely on their official YouTube channel for streaming and it was put on Bandcamp for a "set your price" tribute download purchase according to Radiohead's and other artists' example, promoting their belief that ideas should be streamed freely.

Perdition was release prior to the album under a co-promotion campaign Microsoft had launched for the promotion of Windows 7 named Playlist 7

For the song Ibidem Phase co-operated with Duncan Patterson, better known from his work for the British prog rock band Anathema, who had put down some keyboard tracks for it.

A Void was the first video release for Phase, featuring an animated video by Afsoon Shahriari.

The album's front cover, titled "The Tree of Li(f)e", was created by the designer Aris Liapis, who is responsible for various artworks related to the band; and its core message is related to the philosophical idea of causality, and it is a complementary tool, depicting the album's concept, while the band itself has tried to explain its various symbolical meanings in interviews

Uplaya declared “In Consequence”'s cover art as the most interesting one of the year 2011.

The album has been generally received well by relevant press.
