Iluka is an affluent beachside suburb of Perth, Western Australia. It is located within the City of Joondalup to the north of Perth. Its residents are mainly established families. Currambine Catholic Primary School is within close proximity.
Iluka offers Beaumaris Beach (complete with lunch shelters, barbecues and toilets) as well as a large sporting facility; Iluka Sports Complex (Beaumaris Sports Association), the home of Joondalup City Football Club, Joondalup District Cricket Club, Joondalup Lakers Hockey Club, Iluka Underground street roller hockey club, and the RugbyWA back to back helathway Club Champions Joondalup Brothers Rugby Union Football Club.
Popular surfing spots in the region include Mullaloo Beach, Sorrento Beach and Hillarys Beach.
To the north of Iluka is Burns Beach, a fast developing suburb with a popular beach café.
All owners of land in Iluka are automatically members of the ILUKA Home Owners Association. The association manages land and a housing covenants and some of the local area maintenance. It maintains verges, median strips and entries into the area including shrub and general maintenance, mowing and reticulation. It does not maintain public areas such as parkland.
