Ilango Mutharaiyar

Ilango Mutharaiyar or Ko Ilango Mutharaiyar , also known as Videl Vidugu Ilangovathi Araiyan, was the last ruler of the Mutharaiyar Dynasty (610 AD-851 AD).

Sri Uthamadhaneeswarar Temple
Keezhathaniyam is located about 25 kilometres from Pudukkottai (District head quarters). This temple was built by Ko Ilango Mutharaiyar. This temple is dedicated to lord shiva known by the name " Sri Uthamadhaneeswarar".
