Iberoamerican University of Torreón (Universidad Iberoamericana Torreón) belongs to the (SUJ) and the Association of Universities Entrusted to the Society of Jesus in Latin America. The Iberoamerican University Torreón was founded in 1982 and has a student population of 1732 students. It offers 16 bachelor's degrees and five master's degrees. It has extension centres in the cities of Saltillo and Monterrey.
The campus is located in the north of the city of Torreon, Coahuila; on the Calzada Iberoamericana # 2255.
The University has a Gymnasium-Auditorium, University Gallery, Historical Archive, Language Centre, Library, Cafeteria, Computer Centers, Multimedia Classrooms and Workshops for Engineering and Design. It also has sports facilities for various disciplines and a gym.
The University follows the Ignatian educational model of the Society of Jesus.
