I always -ed you is an early release by the folk singer John Craigie. While it is technically the first album released, it is defined as part of the early years in the discography.
It is a very simple recording, with most songs having just guitar, harmonica and voice. The cover art was done by the Californian artist Camille Bateman, who also did the cover of Daddy Longlegs.
