"I Don't Wanna Get Hurt" is the second single from the album Another Place and Time by Donna Summer. The whole album was written and produced by British team (SAW) and was mainly in the style of their "hit factory" sound. This song was remixed for its release as a single, and in the UK became the Top 10 follow-up to its predecessor, the hit "This Time I Know It's for Real." SAW gained most of their success in Europe and a lot of their material was never aimed at the U.S. market, so this single was never released there.
