Hyman Bernard Samuels (born March 12, 1909, St Louis, Missouri, died October 8, 1973, Los Angeles, California) was a brassiere manufacturer and third husband of B-picture heroine Lynne Roberts.
Hyman Samuels was the son of Sam Samuels, a Russian immigrant tailor, and his wife, Perl Lehrer Samuels. Hyman Samuels worked as a salesman of women's apparel, then became a brassiere manufacturer.
On May 3, 1953, actress Lynne Roberts announced that she planned to wed Hyman Samuels on June 6, her third marriage and his first. The ceremony took place at Ontario, California. Roberts retired from acting after her marriage at the urging of her husband. She gave birth to a daughter in 1955. Hyman Samuels formally adopted her son from her first marriage. Roberts separated from Samuels in 1958, reconciled briefly, then finally divorced in 1961.
Samuels did not remarry. He died in Los Angeles in 1973. His ashes are interred in Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Beth Olam, Columbarium, Hall of David, Corridor T7-1, Tier 22, Niche 1.
