Hrudaya Haadithu (Kannada: ಹೃದಯ ಹಾಡಿತು) is a 1991 Indian Kannada romantic drama film directed by M. S. Rajashekar and produced by S. A. Srinivas & B. P. Somu. The story is influenced by the novel Himada Hoovu written by Vamshi. The film features Ambareesh, Bhavya and Malashri in the lead roles. The film was widely appreciated for its songs and lead actors performances upon release. Malashri won a Filmfare Award for her portrayal as a heart patient in the film.
The songs tuned by Upendra Kumar were huge hits and he won Karnataka State Film Award for Best Music Director. Actor Rajkumar sang a song that went viral and considered evergreen song.
The music of the film was composed by Upendra Kumar with lyrics by Chi. Udaya Shankar. The songs "Naliyuthaa" and title song "Kannalli Jyothi" were received extremely well.
