Sonny lives with his intellectually disabled older brother and works as a bellhop in a hotel where Monique checks in. Del invites Sonny to take part in a heist but executive Lenny Ish is on to them.
This was Haing S. Ngor's last film.
The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 1996, followed by a release in US theaters on September 25, 1998.
The film received mixed reviews.
