Helle Thomsen

Helle Thomsen (born 30 November 1970) is a Danish handball coach and former player. She is currently head coach for the Dutch national team, a position she has held since September 2016. Previously she has been head coach for FC Midtjylland Håndbold between 2012 and 2016 and the Swedish national team between 1 June 2014 and summer 2015 with Thomas Sivertsson.

She won silver and bronze medals in the Danish handball championship as a player. As a coach she has won the Danish championships twice, the Danish Handball Cup once and the EHF Cup once.
