Helen Estabrook

Helen Estabrook is an American film producer known for producing the films Labor Day (2013) and Whiplash (2014); for the latter, she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture at the 87th ceremony. She is currently producing a film adaptation of the novel I Take You, set to star Tobey Maguire.

Estabrook was born in Champaign, Illinois and studied sociology at Harvard College, graduating in 2003. As an undergraduate, Estabrook took film courses and considered becoming an actress before entering the field of film production. She worked in New York City as a production assistant and as assistant for an agency before moving to Los Angeles.
