"Heavydirtysoul" is a song written and recorded by American musical duo Twenty One Pilots, from their fourth studio album Blurryface, it was released as a single on December 9, 2016, originally uploaded onto YouTube as audio only on May 17, 2015.
The official music video for "Heavydirtysoul" was released on February 3, 2017. It shows Tyler Joseph in the backseat of a car, driving by itself down a highway. Josh Dun is seen playing drums in the middle of the road where it's shown that his drum kit catches on fire, but he continues playing it, and the car that Joseph is in loses a wheel while targeting Dun, but misses by a small amount, then turns around and targets him once again. It's shown briefly that the driver of the vehicle is an unknown figure in a hoodie, presumably "Blurryface", a character created by the band. It's also seen that the car falls apart due to Dun's drumming, and when the car loses its roof and doors, Joseph climbs off the car and it blows up, the duo then perform the remainder of the song on the highway at night. The ending shows the sun rising, and Joseph, along with the car, back to normal.
"Heavydirtysoul" has peaked at number 8 on the Hot Rock Songs chart, number 9 on the Alternative Songs chart, number 11 on the Rock Airplay chart and number 32 on the Mainstream Rock chart.
The song is used in the video games WWE 2K16 and Madden NFL 16.
